La edición más reciente de H-ART. Revista de historia, teoría y crítica de arte ya está disponible en línea.

El número 22 de H-ART es el primero del año e incluye seis artículos de tema libre, dos reseñas de exposiciones y una reseña de un libro. Los artículos abordan temas como la relación entre el cómic y su uso como herramienta didáctica religiosa, las representaciones fotográficas de las amas de leche afrodescendientes en las Américas coloniales del siglo XIX hasta la actualidad, entre otros.

En esta ocasión, queremos rendir homenaje a la reconocida artista, curadora e historiadora del arte colombiana Beatriz González en nuestra portada con una reinterpretación de La rendición de Breda, de Diego Velázquez, realizada por González en 1962. Esta obra se encuentra en la colección de la Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.

The latest issue of H-ART. Revista de historia, teoría y crítica de arte is now available online.

Issue 22 of H-ART is the first of the year and includes six open topic articles, two exhibition reviews, and one book review. The articles address issues like the relationship between comics and their use as religious teaching tools, the photographic representations of afro-descendant wet nurses in the colonial Americas from the 19th century to the present day, among others.

On this occasion, we would like to pay tribute to the renowned Colombian artist, curator, and art historian Beatriz González on the issue's cover with a reinterpretation of Diego Velázquez's La rendición de Breda, painted by González in 1962. This painting is found in the collection of the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
