New Research and New Questions in Italian Renaissance Portrait Sculpture

Italian portrait sculpture presents unique problems of identity,
date, provenance, and authenticity. Papers are sought that will bring
forward sculptures both known and unknown for new study and evaluation.
While discussion of new attributions is welcome, the main purpose is to
begin reconsideration of the study of portrait sculpture as a whole.

The postmark deadline for submission of proposals is May 1. A submission
form is required and should accompany the proposal (no longer than two
double-spaced pages) along with a current cv. Please see the SECAC
