Call for papers: Tales of Italy: an overview of Italian literature

The n. 16 (2017) of «Il Capitale Culturale. Studies on the Value of Cultural Heritage» calls for papers on the representation of Italy through Italian literature.
The image of places, objects and people depends often on its literary representation. Literature creates topoi, both social and human, that can also have an economical value, as shown by the birth of literary parks and tourist brands. Literary works can help touristic and cultural enterprises in the production of goods and services with a added cultural value. On the other side, the value of cultural heritage and the touristic promotion of a place can rewake the interest in a literary text. The topics of the call are as follows:

- itineraries;
- places;
- museums, collections, pieces of arts;
- tradictions;
- social enviroments and working places;
- intangible cultural heritage.
