n.paradoxa: international feminist art journal, vol. 33: Religion

Volume 33 (Jan 2014) of n.paradoxa: international feminist art journal explores the work of contemporary women artists in relation to religious ideas, themes and readings. A broad range of contemporary artworks and religious issues or readings are explored: Buddhism, Sufism, Tengri, Christianity, Judaism, paganism and matriarchal cults. Questions of sacrilege and freedom of expression are also raised in this multi-generational and multi-national exploration of ideas.
