At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Camille Theisinger as a new list editor.
Camille Theisinger studied art history at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, where she worked as a research assistant from 2021 to 2024. She completed her master’s degree in the summer of 2024 with an Ecocritical Reflection of Paul Strecker’s Natural Spaces. At the same time, she began her doctoral research on ecological narratives in botanical illustrations around 1800, as part of the mini graduate college “The Aesthetic Inventions of Ecology around 1800,” an interdisciplinary research project at JGU Mainz.

Darüber hinaus freuen wir uns, Camille Theisinger als neues Mitglied der Redaktion begrüßen zu dürfen.
Camille Theisinger studierte Kunstgeschichte an der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, wo sie von 2021 bis 2024 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin tätig war. Ihr Masterstudium schloss sie im Sommer 2024 mit einer ökokritischen Reflexion zu Paul Streckers Naturräumen ab. Zur gleichen Zeit begann sie ihre Promotion zu ökologischen Narrativen in botanischen Illustrationen um 1800 im Rahmen des Mini-Graduiertenkollegs „Die ästhetischen Erfindungen der Ökologie um 1800“, einem interdisziplinären Forschungsprojekt der JGU Mainz.
