Lohengrin Journal invites submissions for its upcoming issue dedicated to interdisciplinary research in music, art history, and cultural studies. We welcome contributions from scholars, artists, and practitioners working in fields such as musicology, art history, sound studies, visual and performing arts, aesthetics, and related disciplines.

This issue aims to explore the complex relationships between artistic forms, cultural contexts, and historical frameworks. We encourage submissions that address both contemporary and historical perspectives, combining theoretical insight with original research and creative approaches. And mainly musical studies, among them Wagnerstudies.

We are particularly interested in topics including, but not limited to:
- Intersections of music, visual art, and performance
- Art history approaches to sound, image, and media
- Artistic movements and their cultural or political impact
- The role of music and art in shaping collective memory and identity
- Technological transformations in artistic production and reception
- Cross-disciplinary methodologies in art and music research
- Practice-based or practice-led research in the arts
- Critical historiographies in art and music
- Archival research and curatorial practices

Submission Guidelines:
- Full papers (4,000–8,000 words) and a short author bio (150 words) due by: 1.05.2025
- We also welcome artistic essays, interviews, and creative-critical formats
- All submissions must be in English, German, Spanish, Catalan, Italian or French and follow our style guidelines
