Transnational Encounters in Art History and Heritage (Batalha, 24-25 May 25)

We invite researchers, academics, and professionals from all fields to submit proposals for an interdisciplinary dialogue between Art History and Heritage, exploring the following themes:

- Cultural Mobility
- Artistic Transfers
- Contemporary Challenges of Sustainability
- Identity
- Accessibility
- Creating a Culture for Peace

Submissions are open until March 15, and should include: an abstract of up to 300 words, 5 keywords and a short biography of up to 150 words. Submissions should be sent to: encontrostransnacionais2025gmail.com.

The conference will take place at the MCCB – Museu da Comunidade Concelhia da Batalha and the Igreja Matriz da Batalha, Portugal on May 24 and 25, 2025.
