Die 27. Konferenz EVA-BERLIN knüpft an die wandlungsbeschleunigten Transformationsprozesse in Kultur und Informatik an. Nach dreijähriger Pause eröffnet sie das Forum elektronischer Dokumentations- und Visualisierungstechniken im Kulturbereich. Innovative Digitalisierungsprojekte in den unterschiedlichen Ökosystemen der Kultur, netzbasierte Forschungs- und Vermittlungskooperationen sowie informationstechnische und transmediale Serviceangebote für BAM- Institutionen und Einrichtungen der performativen Künste werden praxisnah, anwendungsorientiert und in fachübergreifenden Zusammenhängen vorgestellt. Konkrete Verfahren, Projekte und Produkte können zeitgleich zur Konferenz ausgestellt oder in der Postersession vorgestellt werden. Als Teil des internationalen EVA-Konferenzen-Netzwerks mit seinen Veranstaltungsorten in London, Florenz, Paris und Jerusalem ist die Berliner Veranstaltung eine Plattform internationalen Austauschs und Europäischer Kooperation.
Die Staatlichen Museen zu Berlin - Preußischer Kulturbesitz (SMB), das Deutsche Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. (DLR) Optical Sensor Systems und die Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg (B-TU) freuen sich als Veranstalter über Ihre Beiträge, Projektvorstellungen und Kooperationsideen zu den folgenden

THEMEN UND SCHWERPUNKTE:
- Imaging: Innovative Produkte und analytische Reproduktionsmethoden in 2D und 3D
- Visualisierung: vom Datensatz zum User-Interface
- Modellieren: 3D-Modelle und Repliken zwischen Punkt- und Gipsstaubwolken
- Erzählungen: Sammlungsnarrative zwischen Kurator und KI
- Performing Arts: E-Installationen, Dynamic Video und Digitale Konzerthallen
- Eventformate: Vermittlung zwischen Selfies und Instawalks
- Nachweisstrategien: Digital Asset Management, Dokumentationsformate und Metadatenstandards
- Glaubwürdigkeitstechnologien: Smart Contracts, Blockchain, Zertifikate
- Lizensierung: Open Access, NFT und Kreativwirtschaft
- Inklusion: multi-modaler Zugang, multi-mediale Transformation
- Cybercrime: Phishing, Bots und Fakes in der Kultur
- Initiativen, Verbundprojekte und Kooperationen für die Kultur: Europeana, DDB, Fach-und Verbundportale

Vorträge: Zu den angegebenen Schwerpunkten und Themen können Vorträge, Abstracts oder Skizzen eingereicht werden (max. 2 Seiten). Die Vortragszeit beträgt 20 Minuten.
Workshops: Zu speziellen Themen können dem Programmkomitee Workshops angeboten werden. Die Zeitdauer (2-4 Std.) wird individuell abgestimmt.
Ausstellung | Postersession: Präsentationen, neue Produkte und Projektideen können auf einer begleitenden Ausstellung am 30. November 2023 vorgestellt werden. Unternehmen und kommerzielle Anbieter entrichten eine Ausstellergebühr von 100 €.
Konferenzband: Die Referenten und Aussteller, deren Beiträge angenommen sind, werden gebeten, ein Manuskript bzw. eine Präsentationsseite für den Konferenzband zu erstellen. Die Publikation erfolgt in Druck und online.

EVA-Conference Berlin 2023. Electronic Media and Visual Arts: TRANSFORM

The 27th conference EVA-BERLIN ties in with the ongoing transformation processes in culture and informatics. After a three-year break, it opens up again the forum of electronic documentation and visualization techniques in the cultural sector. Innovative digitization projects in the various ecosystems of culture, net-based research and media cooperations, as well as information technology and transmedia services for the GLAM sector and the performative arts will be presented in a practical, application-oriented manner and in interdisciplinary contexts. Current processes, projects and products can be exhibited at the same time or presented in the poster session. As part of the international EVA conference network with its venues in London, Florence, Paris and Jerusalem, the Berlin event is a platform for international exchange and European cooperation.

- Event Formats: Collections between selfies and insta-walks
- Strategies: Digital Asset Management, documentation and metadata standards
- Credibility: Smart Contracts, Blockchain, Certificates
- Licensing: Open Access, NFT and creative industries
- Inclusion: multi-modal access and multi-media transformation
- Cybercrime: Phishing, bots, and fakes in the digital CH
- Initiatives, collaborative projects and cooperations for culture: Europeana, DDB, specialist and collaborative portals

Lectures: Proposals for papers can be submitted on selected topics of the con­ference (max. 2 pages). The time allotted for presentation is 20 minutes.
Workshops: Workshops can be offered on specific topics addressed. The WS' duration (2 to 4 hours) is to be arranged individually.
Exhibition: Presentations, projects, posters and new products for the accompanying exhibition on November 30th, 2023, can be submitted. Commercial companies and vendors are asked to cover a booth fee of 100 €.
Proceedings: The accepted speakers and exhibitors will be asked for a manuscript or a presentation slide for the conference proceedings. The proceedings will be published both in print and online.
