Panofsky Fellowship 2023 | Extended Worlds: Contemporary Art and Digital Technologies: Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Reality.

2023 wird Prof. Dr. Andrea Pinotti, Mailand, mit der Panofsky-Professur am Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte ausgezeichnet. In Verbindung damit schreibt das Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte ein Panofsky Fellowship aus.

Das Stipendium richtet sich an Promovierende und Post-Docs (bis fünf Jahre nach der Promotion), die an einem Forschungsvorhaben zum Thema „Extended Worlds: Contemporary Art and Digital Technologies: Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Reality“ arbeiten. Erwartet werden Präsenz vor Ort, eine Vorstellung des Themas und Mitarbeit an den Aktivitäten des Zentralinstituts für Kunstgeschichte.
Das Stipendium hat eine Laufzeit von drei Monaten und sollte zwischen August und Oktober 2023 angetreten werden. Die Höhe des Stipendiums beträgt für Doktorand*innen monatlich 2.000 EUR, für Post-Docs 2.300 EUR.

Panofsky Fellowship 2023 | Extended Worlds: Contemporary Art and Digital Technologies: Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Reality
Prof. Dr. Andrea Pinotti, Milan, will hold the Panofsky Professorship at the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte Munich in 2023. In connection with this professorship the Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte seeks applications for a Panofsky Fellowship.

The fellowship is intended for doctoral students and postdoctoral scholars (who have graduated within the last five years) who are working on a project related to the topic “Extended Worlds: Contemporary Art and Digital Technologies: Virtual, Augmented, Mixed Reality”. Fellows are expected to maintain a presence at the ZI, to present the Fellowship project, and to partake in the activities of the ZI. The fellowship lasts three months and commences between August and October 2023.
Graduate fellows will receive a monthly stipend of 2000 Euros. Postgraduate fellows will receive 2300 Euros per month.
In addition to a CV and a list of publications and presentations, applicants should submit a project précis of no more than three pages.
