At the CAA Annual Meeting, the National Committee for the History of
Art, the U.S. affiliate of the Comité International d'Histoire de l'Art
(CIHA), is sponsoring a roundtable discussion among scholars from six
countries in which art history is an emerging discipline.
The session, titled Art History as a Developing Practice, will be
chaired and moderated by Thomas Gaehtgens and Thomas Kaufmann and
include the following participants:

Luiz Marques, Cicognara Institute, University of São Paulo, Brazil
Parul Mukherjee, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India
Alejandra Kennedy Troya, Universidad de Cuenca, Cuenca, Ecuador
Zeren Tanindi, Uludag University, Bursa, Turkey
Frank Ugiomoh, University of Port-Harcourt, Choba, Nigeria
The panel is scheduled for 9:30-noon on Friday, February 27 in the West
Hall Meeting Room 502A, Level 2 of the Convention Center. The
participants were identified too late to be included in the final CAA
Program.
