Luce Fulbright Fellowship - Western Art History in China

Western Art History in China - The Fulbright-Luce Scholar lecturing grants
provide a wonderful opportunity for American specialists in art history to
learn first-hand about the exciting contemporary art scene all over China.
At the same time, recipients of these grants are helping to build the
field of Western art history in Chinese universities.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, have a Ph.D. in art history, and have at
least three years of university teaching experience in the field.
Specializations of interest include: Graeco-Roman, Renaissance, Baroque,
Impressionism, and modern and contemporary American. In addition to
teaching undergraduate and graduate survey courses in Western art history
and courses in their area of specialization, grantees will assist their
host institutions in developing a Western art history curriculum and
program. Teaching is in English.

Grants are for five to ten months and start in late August for academic
year grants and late August or mid-February for five-month grants.
