ENCYCLOPEDIA OF MEDIEVAL PILGRIMAGE

Call for Submissions:

Art & Architecture

The editorial staff for the single-volume Encyclopedia of Medieval
Pilgrimage (Brill, forthcoming, 2009) continues to seek contributors to
write signed articles on all topics related to pilgrimage between the Late
Antique and the Reformation.
Articles range from 150 to 2000 words in length. Compensation (for longer
contributions only) will be in the form of discounts on Brill volumes.
Below please find the lemmata list for the portions of the work handled by
Rita Tekippe (rtekippewestga.edu), the subject editor for Art &
Architecture of Pilgrimage. The volume will also cover economic, social and
ritual aspects, canon law, geography, theology, literature. Timeframe:
300-1500.
