H-NET FALL DONATIONS APPEAL

Peter

*

Dear H-Net readers: Please join me in supporting H-Net so that we can
keep H-Net freely accessible to students, scholars, and the interested
public. Each fall we ask you to give what you can toward both reducing
H-Net's considerable operating costs and improving H-Net's services.

Any gift is gratefully received, but just $25 from each of you will
fund H-Net's entire operations for two years! This includes
significant improvements to our website, greater capacity to manage and
publish the professional book and media reviews that you have come to
rely upon, and resources to support the hundreds of volunteer editors
who make our networks informative and productive spaces for collaboration.

Donations are tax-deductible for U.S. taxpayers and can be made one of
three convenient ways:

1. The preferred and most secure method is online via a Verisign secure
site: http://www.h-net.org/donations which
accepts major credit cards.

2. If you don't have internet access or you have technical difficulties
donating online, you can give by mail; please provide a return address
so we can send you a receipt and properly credit your gift; checks in
USD or Euros should be payable to:

H-Net Donations
Michigan State University
310 Auditorium Building

or

3. by phone +517 432 5134, during regular business hours (08.00-12.00,
13.00-17.00 Eastern U.S. time zone, M-F) at Michigan State
University. Our staff processes donations through the site above, so
please call only if you are unable to use the website to make your
gift, or if you have a specific question for us.

General questions about the appeal can be directed to
donationmail.h-net.msu.edu. Please do not send credit card or other
sensitive financial information to us via email; use the secure web
site above.

I thank you for your time and your generous support for H-Net!

Sincerely,
