Call for Papers

Title: Artists as Writers, Writers as Artists

This is a proposed panel for the annual conference of the Renaissance
Society of America in Miami, Florida, 22-24 March 2007.

I am especially interested in papers (of about 20 minutes in length) that
will explore artists who are also writers in the Cinquecento: Michelangelo,
Vasari, Bronzino, Danese Cattaneo, G. M. Verdizzotti, and others as topics.
