IAS at American Association for Italian Studies (AAIS)
Each year, the IAS seeks session proposals for the annual meeting of the interdisciplinary American Association for Italian Studies (AAIS), broadly conceived, but potentially inclusive of architecture, cinema, and other visual media. 2017 American Association for Italian Studies/Canadian Society for Italian Studies Annual Conference, Columbus, Ohio, 20-22 April 2017
The IAS seeks session proposals for the annual meeting of the interdisciplinary American Association of Italian Studies (AAIS). In 2017, the conference is co-sponsored by the Canadian Society for Italian Studies. Members interested in putting together a panel or linked panels on any topic of Italian art (broadly conceived to include also architecture, cinema, etc.) should send a brief abstract (250 words max), session title, a short list of potential or desired speakers (they need not be confirmed), the name of the chair(s) with email addresses and affiliation, and a one-page CV to the IAS Program Committee Chair. Please adhere to our submission guidelines and note that organizers may not link other, non-IAS sponsored sessions to IAS-sponsored sessions. The deadline for submissions is 18 November 2016.

106th College Art Association Annual Conference, Los Angeles, 21-24 February 2018
The IAS is accepting proposals for its sponsored session (1.5 hrs) at CAA 2018. Members interested in putting together a panel or linked panels on any topic of Italian art (broadly conceived) should send a brief abstract (250 words max), session title, a short list of potential or desired speakers (they need not be confirmed), the name of the chair(s) with email addresses and affiliation, and a one-page CV to the IAS Program Committee Chair. Deadline 18 November 2016. Members may also submit proposals for their own sessions or those chaired by others, but if accepted by CAA they will not be identified as sponsored by the IAS.
