We are pleased to announce The Klesch Collection Scholarship Programme 2026 is open for applicants.
About the programme:
The Klesch Collection offers Scholarships to graduate students who will focus/are focusing their studies on European and British painting of the Renaissance and Baroque periods (c. 1400–1700) and who intend to write their thesis or dissertation in this area. These Scholarships have supported the studies of graduate students in MA, MPhil and PhD programmes across the globe, with the aim of contributing to their academic and professional development.
The Scholarship programme includes:
- Payment contribution towards the yearly cost of the university fees.
- A paid, in-person internship at the collection for a minimum of 6 weeks. This will include the opportunity to work alongside the in-house team on projects in curation, research and content development. The internship is designed to complement the recipient’s academic studies with practical experience.
Applicants must have been accepted into a full-time Art History MA or PhD course of study worldwide, beginning the next academic year, and preference will be given to applicants who have completed their undergraduate degree in Art History. PhD students are welcome to apply for any year in their programme.
The deadline: 20 June 2026.
Duration: 1 year of study and a minimum of 6 weeks internship.
