The Emerging Art Foundation

UN FORM ED is The Emerging Art Foundation’s short-form edition, our initiative in supporting and promoting the creation and display of works of interdisciplinary creative practice. Each edition will be published in the Spring showcasing up to four entries by artists and writers who explore the interactions between visual and writerly practices. While our call is open to artists and writers, we do encourage applications from all creatives working across disciplines, including art historians.

The Emerging Art Foundation will issue a prompt to which applicants must respond. The aim of the prompt is to invite a broad variety of interpretations and responses to the generative possibilities of language and the challenges of working within formal constraints. The prompt for the second edition of UN FORM ED is Mine.

The successful applicants will receive an honorarium of £100 each.

Applications open for UN FORM ED on 23 February 2026. The deadline for all submissions is 15 March 2026 at midnight.
