An der Historisch-Kulturwissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Universität Wien ist eine Universitätsprofessur für Gegenwartskunst (Vollbeschäftigung, befristet auf 5 Jahre) zu besetzen.

Die Position: Die Professur ist der Kunst seit den 1960er-Jahren gewidmet, mit einem Schwerpunkt in der zeitgenössischen künstlerischen Produktion seit 1989 in ihren diskursiven, globalen und historischen Kontexten in Forschung und Lehre.

Ihr akademisches Profil:
- Doktorat/PhD
- Herausragende Forschungsleistungen, exzellente Publikationen, Erfolge bei Drittmittelprojekten, internationale Reputation
- Nachgewiesene Führungsqualitäten
- Gender- und Diversitätskompetenzen
- Erfahrung in der Konzeption und Leitung großer Forschungsprojekte
- Begeisterung für exzellente Lehre und Betreuung auf Bachelor-, Master- und Doktoratsebene
- Bereitschaft zur Übernahme organisatorischer und administrativer Aufgaben innerhalb der Fakultät und/oder der Universität.

Die Universität Wien erwartet, dass der/die StelleninhaberIn innerhalb von drei Jahren Deutschkenntnisse erwirbt, die Lehre in den Bachelorstudien und Mitarbeit in universitären Gremien ermöglichen.

University Professor of Contemporary Art (full time, limited to a period of 5 years).

The position: The position is dedicated to the arts since the 1960s, with a particular focus on contemporary art after 1989 in its discursive, global, and historical contexts in research and teaching.
