Call for Nominations for the 2023 CAA/AIC Award for Distinction in Scholarship and Conservation
The CAA/AIC Award Committee invites you to submit nominations for the College Art Association (CAA) / American Institute for Conservation (AIC) Award for Distinction in Scholarship and Conservation. The award recognizes outstanding contributions by one or more persons who, individually or jointly, have enhanced the understanding of art through the application of knowledge and experience which promotes scholarship in conservation, art history, art, and allied professions.

The nominees do not have to be members of both or either organization.

All materials should be sent to Cali Buckley, Content Manager, CAA, CBuckleycollegeart.org by October 20, 2022.
The following supporting material is required for each submission:
1. Nomination letter outlining the relevant achievements of the nominee(s)
2. CV(s) of nominee(s)
3. 2-4 letters of support for the nominee(s) explaining the significance of the work or body of work. Letters should be from fellow scholars familiar with the nominee(s)’s work.
Please do not submit self-nominations.
Nominations will be judged on the quality of research, originality, and clarity of writing, and usefulness of the work to the fields of art conservation, art history, and allied fields.
