Fifth Annual North Texas Medieval Graduate Student Symposium
February 4th and 5th, 2010:

Language and Communication in the Middle Ages: the Visual, the Lyrical, the
Liturgical, the legal, the Dramatic, the Kinetic, the Spatial, Translation,
Lingua Franca, and Literacy

A $300 Travel Grant will be awarded for the best abstract.

"Presenting the Past: Visual Translation in Thirteenth- to Fifteenth-Century
France"

Abstracts of 300 words from any discipline of Medieval Studies should be
submitted by November 1, 2009
