Lectureship in Modern and Contemporary Art (York)

History of Art is a large department with a strong research and teaching
record. The newly published Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) has
confirmed History of Art at York as one of the top-ranking research

We are now looking to appoint a Lecturer in the field of modern and
contemporary art (1900 to the present).

We shall consider highly qualified candidates with a strong research
profile, with a particular preference for those whose research has an
international focus.

Starting salary will be £35,469 per annum. The post is available from 1
October 2009, or as soon as possible thereafter.
