Dear H-ArtHist Subscriber,

Since 2001, H-ArtHist has become the world’s largest scholarly
communication network for Art History with more than 7,200 readers and
contributors all over the world.
We are grateful to all of you who make this network come alive.

H-ArtHist is part of the H-Net (Humanities & Social Sciences Online) which
resides at Michigan State University and provides server space and other
H-Net services for more than 100 specialized networks.
H-ArtHist is currently run by 12 volunteer art historians from different
institutions who serve as list and/or review editors. Membership and
subscription to the mailinglist is free. Consequently, we have no budget
whatsoever.

As we are planning to enhance the editorial workflow by means of a content
management system and to relaunch our website, we now need your financial
help. We would like to encourage you to support H-ArtHist in continuing to
provide an independent service.

Even the smallest amount of money is welcome!

Initially, we have issued this donations appeal in German only, since
donations to Arthist e.V. are tax-deductable for taxpayers in Germany. But
since we have received a couple of donations from subscribers in other
countries, and since bank wire transfers within the Eurozone will be
charged only modest fees, if you use the IBAN, we decided to reissue our
appeal and to reach out to our international readership at large.
