Call for Session Proposals

The International Center of Medieval Art (ICMA) seeks proposals for
sessions to be held under the organization's sponsorship at the 2009
International Medieval Congress in Leeds and at the 2010 Annual
Conference of the College Art Association (CAA), to be held in
Chicago.

1) Call for Sponsored Session Proposals
International Medieval Congress at Leeds, 13-16 July 2009

The International Center of Medieval Art (ICMA) seeks proposals for
sessions to be held under the organization's sponsorship at next year's
International Medieval Congress in Leeds (UK). The theme of the
conference is "Heresy and Orthodoxy," and sessions addressing that theme
are particularly encouraged, but the conference organizers note that
they welcome sessions on any medieval topic. The ICMA welcomes session
proposals in all fields of medieval art history, broadly construed.
Both junior and senior scholars are invited to apply. The guidelines of
the Congress dictate that a session proposal must include a 100 word
abstract of the proposed session theme, the name of the moderator, and
the names of all of the speakers, along with their paper titles.
Further information about the conference and its rules can be found at
the conference website:
http://www.leeds.ac.uk/ims/imc/imc2009_call.html.

The deadline for proposals for ICMA sponsorship is 15 August 2008.
Session organizers and speakers must be members of the ICMA at the time
of the conference.
