Zum Jahresthema 2008/2009

Kunstgeschichte & ästhetische Theorie. Abgrenzung, Wechselwirkung,
Synergien

vergibt das Deutsche Forum für Kunstgeschichte zum 1. September 2008
mehrere Forschungsstipendien (12 Monate) sowie ein Habilitationsstipendium
(24 Monate). Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an Interessenten mit einem
abgeschlossenen (M. A. und/bzw. Dr. phil.) Hochschulstudium der
Kunstgeschichte, der Philosophie oder anderer fachnaher Disziplinen, die
zu Fragen der Kunsttheorie, Kunstphilosophie und der Ästhetik forschen und
sich dabei in besonderem Maße dem deutschsprachigen und/bzw. französischen
Beitrag zuwenden. Darüber hinaus werden Nachwuchswissenschaftler, deren
Forschungsinteressen sich in das Themenspektrum des DFK einfügen,
eingeladen, sich mit den üblichen Unterlagen (Lebenslauf, Zeugnisse, ggf.
Publikationsliste, zwei Empfehlungsschreiben von Hochschullehrern) sowie
einer Projektskizze (max. 3 Seiten, dazu Zeitplan und
Literaturverzeichnis), bis zum 30. Juni 2008 unter folgender Anschrift zu

Appel à candidature

Dans le cadre du sujet annuel 2008-2009 'Histoire de l’art & théorie
esthétique. Démarcation, interaction, synergies', le Centre allemand
d’histoire de l’art de Paris dispense plusieurs bourses de recherche
destinées aux doctorants, pour une durée de 12 mois, ainsi qu’une bourse
réservée à un docteur en cours d’habilitation, pour une durée de 24 mois.
Nous invitons les jeunes diplômés en histoire de l’art, en philosophie ou
dans une discipline proche, titulaires d’un M.A. ou d’un doctorat, dont
les recherches portent sur la théorie de l’art, la philosophie de l’art et
l’esthétique, francaises ou allemandes, à nous adresser leur candidature.
Le Centre allemand délivre aussi des bourses indépendantes du sujet
annuel. Les chercheurs travaillant sur des thèmes proches de nos
programmes de recherche peuvent donc également envoyer un dossier de
candidature.
Pour ces deux types de bourse, les dossiers devront comporter un
curriculum vitae, la copie des diplômes, la liste des publications, deux
lettres de recommandation établies par des professeurs d’université, un
projet de recherche de 3 pages maximum suivi d’un échéancier et d’une
bibliographie. Les dossiers doivent parvenir au Centre allemand avant le
30 juin 2008.

Scholarship advert

In relation to the annual theme for 2008/2009, History of art & aesthetic
theory: definition, interaction and synergies, the German Centre for the
History of Art in Paris will award several research fellowships for
doctoral candidates for the period of 12 months and one post-doctoral
fellowship for the period of 24 months. The scholarships are destined for
those with a university degree (M.A and/or Ph. D.) in history of art,
philosophy, or other comparable disciplines, conducting research in the
theory, philosophy and aesthetics of art with particular emphasis on
German and/or French contributions. Furthermore, irrespective of the
annual subject, promising young art historians researching the above
subjects are invited to apply for scholarships.
All candidates are requested to send in the standard application documents
(curriculum vitae, copies of degree certificates, a list of publications,
two reference letters from university/college lecturers) as well as a
project outline (max. 3 pages, plus timetable and bibliography) by June
30, 2008, to the following address:
