Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in History of Art
Applications are invited for a full-time permanent post in the Department
of History. The appointment will be made at either Senior Lecturer or
Lecturer level, depending on qualifications and experience.
The Senior Lecturership is open to candidates with a specialism in any
major area or period in the history of western art; s/he would be expected
to lead and co-ordinate the development of the History of Art in UCC.
An appointment at Lecturer level would give preference to a candidate with
a specialism in Modern/Contemporary History of Art.
At either level of appointment the successful candidate will have a
doctorate, a strong research record and a proven ability to contribute
widely to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
