I don't know where the archive is, but you might try asking Martha
Longenecker at the Mingei Museum in Balboa Park (Escondido). I don't know
her personally - she worked, until recently, with a friend of mine who was
curator at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana. She might be able to steer you
in the right direction.
