My query:
Who are the significant right-wing or conservative art historians? I would
like to provide a "balanced" syllabus for an art and politics class [focus
will be on the 19th and 20th c.] and am finding that the Nochlin's and
T.J. Clark's far outnumber the Kimball's and Hilton Kramer's. (As do the
Art Journal's vs. the New Criterion's)
I don't want to be accused of espousing only liberal points of view, so
would like the opposing positions to be presented to invite student debate.
Any suggestions will be truly appreciated!
Thank you,
