Universitätsprofessur für Kunstgeschichte des Mittelalters

Aufgabengebiet: Forschung und Lehre im Fach Kunstgeschichte des
Mittelalters in seiner ganzen Breite.
Einstellungsvoraussetzungen: gem. § 100 BerlHG.
Erwünscht: Vernetzung mit internationalen Forschungseinrichtungen.
Erfahrung in der Einwerbung und Durchführung von Drittmittelprojekten,
internationale Lehr- und Forschungserfahrung.

Associate Professorship in Art History of the Middle Ages (limited to 5
years)

Applications are invited for the position of Associate Professor of Art
History of the Middle Ages. The successful applicant will be required to
provide teaching and research in the said area, covering the whole subject.
In line with article 100 of the Higher Education Act of the land of
Berlin (Berliner Hochschulgesetz), a postdoctoral lecturing
qualification (Habilitation) or comparable qualifications for a teaching
career in higher education are required.
The successful candidate will have widespread connections within
international research networks. She or he is expected to have
experience in securing external funding and in managing externally
funded projects, as well as international experience in teaching and
research.
The language of instruction will generally be German, but some
activities may be offered in English. A non-German speaking appointee
will be expected to be able to teach in German within two years.
