Inferno - Cartography and Urban Representations

Inferno: Journal of Art History
Special Issue: Cartography and Urban Representations throughout History

Inferno is a journal that prides itself on the publication of original
and innovative research being undertaken by postgraduates across the
world. For this special themed issue, articles can relate to the use of
maps and cityscapes from pre-historical times until the contemporary
period. Papers may discuss the production of maps or urban landscapes,
as well as their afterlife, political or other connotations that they
may bear, or reinterpretations. Shorter notices, exhibition reviews and
pieces relating to museum or conservation issues within this subject are
also sought.

Articles should be a maximum of 5000 words (including all footnotes) and
should be submitted in English. Closing date: 20 July 2005.
