SALARY: GBP 19,460 - GBP 21,640 PA

You should have teaching interests within one or more of the following
subject areas: 18th-20th century architecture; 19th-20th century art;
history of photography. A PhD and some teaching experience are required. The
posts are for a temporary period from 1 September 2005 to 30 June 2006.

(Fixed-term, part-time)

Applications are invited for the above post based at Jubilee Campus,
Wollaton Road, Nottingham. The Centre for Continuing Education within the
School of Education has a substantial and popular visual arts programme,
which is based on the integration of art practice, theory and history.
Candidates are required with a commitment to lifelong learning and good
interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills.

Candidates should have a BA (Hons) Art History or equivalent and a minimum
of three years' successful teaching experience in the post-16 sector.
Candidates should also have at least one year's experience in a relevant
administrative role with experience of curriculum development and staff
management. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide-ranging
programme and be expected to create and teach a variety of art history and
interdisciplinary modules.

Salary will be within the range GBP 22,507 - GBP 29,128 per annum, pro rata,
depending on qualifications and experience. Hours of work are 18 per week,
to be agreed. This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a
period of two years.
