International University Bremen (IUB) invites applications for its
Graduate M.A./Ph.D. Programs in the Humanities and Social Sciences
Mapping Modernity: Changing Cultural Orientations
The Humanities Graduate Program offers M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Art
History, Literature, and History. Historical transformations and new
visual and literary structures within modernity furnish the central
themes around which our program is built. Building on the distinctive
methods of all disciplines involved, the curriculum offers students
insights into the changing cultural orientations in the past and present.
Starting in September 2003, these English-taught programs offer
excellent students who hold at least a B.A. or an equivalent degree in a
humanities or social science discipline the opportunity for advanced
study and research in an interdisciplinary and international environment.
