MeLA project survey on collaborations between museums, libraries and other cultural institutions
The EU-funded project MeLA (Museums and Libraries in/of the Age of Migration, http://www.mela-project.eu/) is developing multi-disciplinary resources for investigating major European public museums, supporting their collaboration with libraries and other cultural institutions, and helping them to address contemporary challenges of globalization, European integration, and new media.
We wish to find out experiences of collaborative projects between transnational museums, libraries and other cultural institutions, focusing on multiculturalism, migration and the use of new media. Our geographic focus at this stage is on transnational and/or national partnerships within Europe and/or at extra-European level.
An online survey is available at http://tinyurl.com/MeLAproject-survey . The results of this survey will contribute to our investigation on innovative coordination strategies between museums and other cultural institutions, which will be presented to the European Commission.
Some information about this survey:
- The survey consists of 30 research questions and it will take about 20-30 minutes to fill it out.
- You’ll be asked information on your details; overview, management and assessment of the collaborative project you are referring to; and your suggestions for a successful collaborative project.
- You have to complete the survey in one session. Once you close the survey window, you cannot return to it. You can
however go back to previous questions if you want to update your answers as long as the survey window is open.
- Please provide as much information as possible. Many of the questions are multiple-choice.
We will randomly give away three Amazon €50 gift vouchers to those that complete this MeLA project survey!
For questions about this survey or other remarks, please contact Perla Innocenti, University of Glasgow and leader of MeLA WP3 (perla.innocentiglasgow.ac.uk).
On behalf of the MeLA team, thank you for your time and feedback!
Best wishes
