The Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park invites applications for three awards: Postdoctoral Award, Graduate Essay Award and Guest Curatorship Award.

Postdoctoral Awards (deadline 11 January 2019)
Aimed at early career researchers anywhere in the world, Postdoctoral Awards offer $7,000 CAD (roughly $5,300 USD or £4,100) to support research leading to one or more publications on any subject relating to art and knowledge. Themes might include but are not limited to the connections between visual art and cognition, ethics, politics, religion or the sacred, and any other fields of knowledge.

Graduate Essay Award (deadline 11 January 2019)
The Jeffrey Rubinoff Graduate Essay Award is an annual competition open to current postgraduate students anywhere in the world. Successful applicants will receive $3,000 CAD (roughly $2,300 USD or £1,750) to research and write an original essay responding to any aspect of the Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park.

Guest Curatorship (deadline 16 December 2018 -- note the earlier date, and the location eligibility requirement)
The 2019 Guest Curatorship Award is targeted at undergraduate or postgraduate students living on Vancouver Island or the Gulf Islands, Canada, and attending a Vancouver Island post-secondary institution. The 2019 Guest Curator will assist the Sculpture Park’s Curator in enhancing the Park’s online presence.

The Jeffrey Rubinoff Sculpture Park (JRSP) is one of the largest sculpture parks in Canada, and the largest dedicated to the work of a single artist. Covering over fifty hectares on Hornby Island, British Columbia, it contains more than a hundred artworks by the late Jeffrey Rubinoff (1945-2017).
