Bewerbungsschluss: 31.05.2017

Bibliothek Andreas Züst

The Bibliothek Andreas Züst will award three studio residency stipends for a stay in November 2017. Applications will be accepted until 31 May 2017. The residency program is intended for national and international cultural workers (individuals or teams with a max. of four persons) in all disciplines (visual arts, literature, new media, music, theatre, dance, design, architecture, film, photography, applied arts, and art-related academic fields).

Accommodations are provided at the Alpenhof panorama lodge, which is located at 1,110ma.s.l. on St. Anton in the Appenzell Alps. The length of the stay may vary from one to four weeks. Sought are application submissions for projects that deal with the library as a whole or one of its sub-areas, in which the project perspective considers the tradition of libraries as places of diverse knowledge. In short: the residency should entail research about what constitutes the fabric of our culture and how can we go beyond this basis. The residency is free-of-charge and the costs of traveling to the location will be covered. A living expenses subsidy of CHF 250/week is available upon further request.
