Kelley Daley, The Phillips Collection

The University of Maryland Center for Art and Knowledge at The Phillips Collection will offer a fellowship in Modern and Contemporary Art History. The fellowship will allow the recipient to work with the Phillips’s collection of modern and contemporary art and the University of Maryland’s leadership programs in art historical scholarship and interdisciplinary experimentation. The fellowship will support research and teaching on topics in American, European, or non-western art of all media from 1780 to the present. The fellow will be expected to teach one undergraduate or graduate course at the Center or at The University of Maryland, to present at least one public lecture, and to participate in other programs at the museum and the university. The fellowship is open to scholars who have received their PhDs within the past 5 years. Application deadline is February 15, 2016.
