Terra Foundation for American Art Research Travel Grants 2011

The Terra Foundation for American Art Research Travel Grants support travel to the United States for research purposes. Foreign nationals enrolled in European universities whose research projects concern American art or transatlantic artistic relations prior to 1980 are eligible. Three predoctoral grants of $5,000 and three postdoctoral grants of $7,500 (for researchers who have been awarded their doctorate within the past ten years) are available. Applications must be received by one of the partnering institutions: Courtauld Institute of Art, London (www.courtauld.ac.uk); Institut National d’Histoire de l’Art, Paris (www.inha.fr); John F. Kennedy Institut für Nordamerikastudien, Freie Universität Berlin (www.jfki.fu-berlin.de); or Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte, Munich (www.zikg.eu).
