Es ist ein zentrales Anliegen der Stiftung Arp e.V., die Diskussionen um das Werk von Sophie Taeuber-Arp (1889-1943) und Hans Arp (1886-1966) lebendig zu halten. Aus diesem Grund schreibt die Stiftung jährlich mehrere Forschungsstipendien aus.

Die Stipendien werden an Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen, etablierte Forscher:innen, Kurator:innen und Künstler:innen vergeben, die sich mit dem Werk von Hans Arp und Sophie Taeuber-Arp sowie ihrem künstlerischen und kulturellen Umfeld befassen mit dem Zweck, Forschungs- oder Ausstellungsprojekt von Wissenschaftler:innen zu fördern, die für ihre Recherchen, die Sammlung, das Archiv oder die Bibliothek der Stiftung Arp e. V. vor Ort nutzen möchten. Die Stipendien werden je nach Rechercheaufwand für einen Zeitraum zwischen 1 und 3 Monaten mit einer monatlichen Unterstützung von 1.200 Euro vergeben.

Für die Bewerbung um ein Stipendium reichen Sie bitte folgende Unterlagen ein:
1. Lebenslauf
2. Publikationsliste
3. Projektskizze des geplanten Forschungsvorhabens (2000 Wörter)
4. Zusammenfassung des Projekts (max. 500 Wörter)

One of the Stiftung Arp e.V.’s core activities is the promotion of a lively discourse on Hans Arp (1886-1966) and Sophie Taeuber-Arp’s (1889-1943) work. For this reason, the foundation is granting ARP-Research Fellowships. The fellowships will be awarded to scholars and artists whose work addresses the work of Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp as well as its broader artistic and cultural context.

The archive and library fellowships are intended for junior scholars, established researchers and curators as well as artists whose project or exhibition addresses the work of Hans Arp and Sophie Taeuber-Arp and who wish to research the collection, the archive and the library in person. Depending on the scope of the research project, fellowships will be awarded for the duration of 1 to 3 months. The monthly stipend is 1,200 Euros.

For the application for a fellowship please submit the following materials:

3. Research Description and Plan (2,000 words)
4. Summary of the project (max. 500 words)
