The Department of History of Art at the University of Cambridge is seeking applications for a permanent Assistant Professor in the History of British Architecture in its Global Contexts 1660-1900.
This specialism should be understood to extend not only to the traditions of Architecture in the United Kingdom, but also in the Commonwealth nations. The postholder will contribute to diversifying the curriculum in teaching and research on the imperial/post-imperial contexts of British Architecture. The successful candidate will be expected to take up appointment on 1 September 2025.
