Am Kunsthistorischen Institut der Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen ist zum 1. Oktober 2023 die Stelle eines/r wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiter:in (m/w/d; Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L, 65 %) zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist auf drei Jahre befristet.

Die Stelle ist der Professur für die Kunstgeschichte der Moderne (Prof. Dr. Megan Luke) zugeordnet. Voraussetzungen sind eine sehr gute Masterarbeit und ein Dissertationsprojekt im Bereich Kunstgeschichte der Moderne sowie ein Schwerpunkt in der Geschichte der mittel- und osteuropäischen Kunst und Architektur. Neben eigener wissenschaftlicher Forschung und Weiterqualifizierung umfassen die Aufgaben im Wesentlichen die Unterstützung der Professur bei der Planung, Vorbereitung und Durchführung wissenschaftlicher Veranstaltungen wie Kolloquien, Ausstellungen oder Exkursionen sowie die Vorbereitung von Projektanträgen. Zu den Dienstaufgaben der Stelleninhaberin / des Stelleninhabers gehört darüber hinaus Lehre im Umfang von 2 SWS. Sehr gute Kenntnisse der relevanten osteuropäischen Sprache(n) sind unerlässlich; sehr gute Englischkenntnisse sind erwünscht.

The Institute of Art History at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen has from 1 October 2023 a vacancy for the position of a research assistant (m/f/d; salary group 13 TV-L, 65 %) to be filled. It is limited to three years.

The position is assigned to the Chair of Modern Art History (Prof. Dr. Megan Luke). Requirements are an outstanding master thesis in art history and a dissertation project focused on the history of modern art and architecture in Central and Eastern Europe.

In addition to pursuing independent academic research and the PhD qualification, responsibilities will consist in supporting the Chair in the planning, preparation and realization of academic colloquia, exhibitions or excursions, as well as the preparation of project funding proposals and reports. These duties include teaching 2 SWS. Knowledge of Eastern European language(s) is a prerequisite; candiates without a working knowledge of German must also have knowledge of English.
