A "post-doc" position as university assistant is available at the Department of Art History at the University of Vienna from March 1, 2022.

Duration of employment: 1 year.
The position is vacant for the period of absence of a member of staff.

Extent of Employment: 40 hours/week

§48 VwGr. B1 lit. b (postdoc) with relevant work experience determining the assignment to a particular salary grade.

Job Description:
Active Assistance of Prof. Sebastian Egenhofer in teaching and research, preparation of a scholarly project leading to a second book ('Habiliation'), Independent teaching in art history (19.-21. cent., 4 hours per week during the semester), participation in the Administration of the Department.

Profile:
Above-average completed PhD with one focus in the art of the 19.-21. century; you are a teamplayer with didactic qualifications, teaching experience (including E-learning), and experience in academic research and self-administration. Very good language skills in German, English and another language.
