Future Directions in 19th-Century Art History (New York, 9-12 Feb 11)

The Association of Historians of 19th-Century Art (AHNCA) will
hold its annual session, "Future Directions in 19th-Century Art
History," at the 2011 College Art Association annual conference
in New York. The conference will take place from February 9-12,
2011. Recent PhDs and advanced graduate students are invited to
submit a proposal on any aspect of visual production of "the
long 19th century" (late 18th to early 20th century). Proposal
abstracts should be no more than 500 words, should be accompanied
by a current c.v. and must be received by email by September 1,
2010. Please also include your CAA membership number, institution,
home or office address, telephone number, and email. Send this
information and your abstract to the session chair: Maria
