The School of Divinity, History and Philosophy is seeking to appoint a
qualified candidate to a 1.0 FTE Teaching Fellowship in the History of
European Art, 1400-1800 in order to provide teaching coverage for members
of staff who are to be away on research leave during the coming academic
year (2010/11). The successful candidate will teach and contribute
discrete lectures and tutorials to a range of undergraduate courses
(sub-honours and honours) and to teach postgraduate. He or she will also
contribute generally to the life and work of the unit within the School.

The appointment will be made at the rank of Teaching Fellow, with
placement at an appropriate point on the Grade 6 scale (£29,853 - £35,646
per annum).

be required to fulfil the minimum points criteria to be granted a
Certificate of Sponsorship and Tier 2 visa. As appropriate, at the time an
offer of appointment is made you will be asked to demonstrate that you
fulfil the criteria in respect of financial maintenance and competency in
