Call for Papers
Walter Benjamin's work remains central to discussions of modernity within
the Humanities, Visual Arts, Design and Architecture. This conference will
bring together scholars working on all aspects of Benjamin's work as well as
those who deploy the insights of that work in developing projects of their
own.
Abstracts of 300 words, which will be subject to a refereeing process,
should be sent to walterbenjaminuts.edu.au by April 30 2006. We also
invite proposals for panels of three papers organized around a particular
theme. Papers delivered at the conference should be 20 minutes in length.
