A Research Fellowship in Art History / Visual Culture

King's College, Cambridge, wishes to appoint a Research Fellow (a four-year
faculty level position), in any aspect of Visual Culture.

The field is conceived as broadly as possible. As well as traditional areas
of Art History, applicants may for example be working on non- European art,
relationships between cultures, aspects of material culture,
inter-relations between different media, history of new media, visual
theory, scientific illustration.

The Fellowship will be tenable for up to four years from 1 October 2006.

Graduates of any university are eligible, subject to the condition that
they shall have obtained, or expect to obtain, a PhD or equivalent. The
successful candidate will be a member of King's College and will be
expected to take a full part in College life and to reside in Cambridge.
