Job Description/Qualifications:
Position available at the University at Buffalo in the Department of Art
History. Seeking a colleague with broad knowledge in the discourse of
Visual Studies. Candidate must be willing to assume a leadership role in
developing a PhD in Visual Studies. Rank: Associate or Full Professor.
Teaching responsibilities: two courses per semester, graduate seminars, and
thesis direction in MA program. Required: PhD in Art History, Visual
Studies/Culture, or related fields. Demonstrated level of excellence in
research and publication.
