signandsight.com is the English version of the German online cultural
magazine "Perlentaucher" 1.
signandsight.com provides a lively and informative view of cultural
and intellectual life in Germany.
In "Today's Feuilleton"
<http://www.signandsight.com/intodaysfeuilletons.html>, which appears
every day (Monday-Friday) at 11am, summarises the highlights of the
cultural pages of the major German language newspapers. Where
possible, we link to the articles themselves.
In the "Features" section, we publish a selection of especially
interesting articles in English translation: two or three a week. The
Features are saved in an archive, sorted according to both date
<http://www.signandsight.com/features.html> and topic
<http://www.signandsight.com/features/subjects.html>.
Books this Season <http://www.signandsight.com/booksthisseason.html>
is a selection of the most interesting and most discussed (for better
or worse) recent literature.
Using the "search function", all the articles can be found by name or
topic.
Sometime in the near future, we'll start "B-log", a column on
goings-on in Berlin. As of April, readers will be able to subscribe to
a "daily newsletter".
