Salary £24,372 - £37,157 per annum A&M LEC 5-008
(A job share, two x 0.5's FTE, will be considered for this position,).
With around 3,500 further education, undergraduate and postgraduate
students, The Surrey Institute of Art & Design, University College is one
of Europe's largest specialist centres for higher education in art,
design, media and communications.
The Faculty of Arts and Media is a vibrant academic community offering
undergraduate study, taught postgraduate courses and PhD study. The
Photography Programme at Farnham has an enviable reputation for the
quality of its theory delivery, which is seen as intrinsic to student
practice.
We are looking for a dynamic and highly motivated lecturer with an
established research profile who will continue this tradition and develop
the existing broad range of photographic history, theory and criticism
taught at The Surrey Institute. We are currently in discussion with a
major UK academic publisher to establish a co-editorship of a new
photographic journal associated with this post.
The benefits package for this role include a final salary pension scheme,
35 days holiday per annum and free parking. There is also the opportunity
for additional research leave.
