fur die Erstellung eines wissenschaftlichen Verzeichnisses der Werke der
Bildhauerin (und Malerin) Margarethe Moll - gen. Marg Moll - suche ich
Hinweise zum Verbleib ihrer Skulpturen, Plastiken, Zeichnungen und Gemaelde
in offentlichen Sammlungen und privatem Besitz. Diskretion wird
selbstverstandlich gewahrleistet.

Marg Moll lebte von 1884 bis 1977; wichtige Lebensstationen waren: 1906
Berlin; 1907-1918 Paris und Berlin (sie pendelt viel in dieser Zeit);
1918/19-1932 Breslau (+langerer Aufenthalt in Paris 1928); 1932-1936
Duesseldorf; 1936-1943/46 Berlin (verschiedene Fluchtorte zwischen 1943 und
1946, z.B. Brieg/Schlesien); 1947 England; 1952 Duesseldorf; 1972 Munchen.

Dear colleages,
in order to create a scientific work catalog on the sculptor (and painter)
Margarethe Moll - called Marg Moll - I am searching for information on the
fates of her sculptures, plastics, drawings and paintings which are in
public collections and private possession.
Discretion is certainly guaranteed.

Marg Moll was living from 1884 through 1977. Important milestones in her
life were 1906 in Berlin, 1907 through 1918 Paris and Berlin (she travelled
often during this period).
During the years of 1918/19 through 1932 she stayed in Breslau but also
spent longer times in Paris, e.g. 1928), from 1932 through 1936 she was in
Dusseldorf, and in 1936 - 1943/44 she domiciled in Berlin and used
different escape places between 1943 and 1946, e.g. Brieg/Silesia.
She moved to England in 1947 and returned to Dusseldorf in 1952 from where
she moved to Munich in 1972.
