Dear list members,

We are pleased to welcome a new list-editor to the H-ArtHist editorial team since last week:

Nadine Soell studied Art History, Religious Studies and Publishing- and Communication Studies at the Free University Berlin. She is a research fellow at the Graduate School "Cultural Encounters and the Discourses of Scholarship" at Rostock University and is currently working on a dissertation project in cooperation with the Free University Berlin, exploring representations of music culture(s) in contemporary art and film. Her fields of interest are the relationship between art and society and the potential of art in communication processes and cultural encounters. Nadine Soell is also an editor for the section on contemporary culture at the E-Journal www.kunsttexte.de.

Sehr geehrte LeserInnen,

wir freuen uns, seit letzter Woche eine neue Listen-Redakteurin im Team von H-ArtHist begrüßen zu dürfen:

Nadine Söll studierte Kunstgeschichte, Publizistik- und Kommunikationswissenschaften sowie Religionswissenschaften an der Freien Universität Berlin und der Leicester University. Sie ist Stipendiatin am Graduiertenkolleg "Kulturkontakt und Wissenschaftsdiskurs" der Universität Rostock und promoviert in Kooperation mit der Freien Universität Berlin zu Repräsentationen von Musikkultur(en) in zeitgenössischer Kunst und Film. Ihre Interessensschwerpunkte umfassen das Verhältnis von Kunst und Gesellschaft und das Potential von Kunst als Kommunikationsform im Kulturkontakt. Nadine Söll ist außerdem Mitglied der Redaktion Gegenwart des Online-Fachjournals www.kunsttexte.de.
