Panel at CAA 2020 (Chicago, 12-15 Feb 20)

Chicago, Feb 12–15, 2020
Deadline: Apr 1, 2019

Patricia Mainardi
The Association of Historians of Nineteenth-Century Art (AHNCA) invites proposals for its sponsored session at the College Art Association (CAA) annual conference to be held in Chicago, February 12-15, 2020.
The AHNCA sponsored session should focus on some aspect of the long nineteenth century. All topics are welcome, but proposals should not have a narrow geographic focus.

If you are interested in chairing the panel, please submit a title and 250-word abstract describing your session. Co-chaired sessions are also welcome. Once the theme and chair(s) of the panel are selected, this session will solicit contributors through CAA’s open call. The chair or co-chairs must be members in good standing of AHNCA and CAA.

Submissions should include a CV and should be sent to Patricia Mainardi (pmmainardigmail.com), who will forward them to the committee. The deadline for consideration is April 1 with a decision announced by April 10 so that unsuccessful proposals can still be submitted directly to CAA before its deadline of April 30, 2019.
